Maître Abderrahim Laroui

Lawyer at the El Jadida Bar

Advice and representation in real estate and commercial law, built on hands-on experience in a notary's office and in the services of the El Jadida Urban Commune: the deed is read the way it was drafted, the file is followed the way the administration handles it, then defended in court.

IIBackground

Between the deed, the administration and the court

Before joining the El Jadida Bar, Maître Laroui gained rare field experience in the two places every property file goes through: the notary's office and the local administration.

A property file goes through the notary and the administration before it ever reaches the court. Knowing the whole route is what protects the client.

  1. Law degree

University training in law, the theoretical foundation of his practice.

  2. Four years with a notary

Training in a modern notary's office: drafting deeds, property transactions, Land Registry formalities.

  3. El Jadida Urban Commune

Training in the Commune's services: administrative procedures, urban planning, permits and planning documents.

  4. Lawyer at the El Jadida Bar

Today, he puts that experience at his clients' service, in advice and in court.

Urgent question?

Do I need an appointment?

Yes, booking ahead by WhatsApp or phone is recommended, so your file gets the time it needs and Maître Laroui is at the office rather than in court.

What should I bring for a property matter?

Depending on the case: certificate of ownership or land title reference, deeds (sale, promise of sale, lease), earlier judgments or formal notices, and your ID. If in doubt, bring everything you have.

Can a property be checked before I buy it?

Yes, and it is recommended: a review of the property's legal status (ownership, charges, mortgages, objections, planning) before signing any promise of sale or paying a deposit.

I run a business and have unpaid invoices. What can I do?

Depending on the debt and the documents (invoice, cheque, bill of exchange, contract), options include a formal notice, a payment order or a claim before the commercial court. The right route is decided during the consultation.

How are fees set?

Fees depend on the nature and complexity of the file and are agreed clearly with the client before work begins.

In which language are consultations held?

In Arabic and Darija; documents written in French are of course reviewed.
